Installation

The installation of the drier is extremely straightforward provided an electrical point is available.

• The drier should be positioned on the wall at a height of approximately 1.22 metres (4 ft) measured from the base of the unit to the floor.
• Remove cover by removing single cross head screw at the bottom of the drier. Mark and drill holes to the positions shown on the template provided, to suit wall plugs for No 10 x 2 1/2 & long screws and insert wall plugs.
• Make provision for electrical connection using supply cable suitable for 10 amps at 240 volts. A fused double pole isolating switch must be provided adjacent to the drier to permit complete isolation of the unit during servicing.

Servicing

The Compact Automatic hand drier is designed for a long, maintenance free life in a normally clean environment. In installations where fluff or lint accumulates on the inlet, this should be regularly removed. No other servicing or maintenance is required.
