About Us
Founded in 1974 in Oxfordshire, UK, by engineers Peter Philipps and Peter Allen, the Airdri Group emerged during a pivotal period of advancement in hand drying technology.
Recognising a market need for reliable, energy-efficient, and visually appealing hand dryers for diverse washroom settings, their innovative vision has manifested in a growing array of hand dryers.
Throughout its evolution, the Airdri Group has maintained a focus on hand dryers while leveraging in-house engineering expertise to explore new avenues for growth. Since the 1980s, operating under the Formula Systems brand, the company has pioneered elevator technology, introducing patented elevator door systems and speech units. In early 2020, Airdri unveiled SteraSpace, a premium line of air and surface sanitizers proven to eliminate up to 99.6% of harmful bacteria and viruses.
Presently, Toby and Bruce, sons of Peter Philipps, hold the positions of Chairman and President, respectively, steering the company into the future. The visionary legacy of their father lives on through the creative expertise of the team they have cultivated and continue to nurture.
